I have a large black Mexican pot that has a commanding presence wherever it is placed. In this case it becomes the anchor for the rambling foliage of the red leaved begonia and the anonymous ( to me) trailing leaved plant. This is a study about how color makes pattern, which was the basis for many paintings by Matisse
