Late old fashioned, water-core , backyard apples, and still in process. They will be fully ripe in a few weeks. And very delicious !

Copper Kettle / Study
Color! The richness and variety of the orange in the kettle, fabric and flowers are complimented by the blue green of the foliage. To my eye this is irresistible!

Changing the Scope and Intention of this Blog
When I began this blog in April 2010, I envisioned it to be a way to show the small studies I was painting almost daily, my visual version of a journal.
Now because it is the process of painting that engages me and not just it's format, I am going to include in the blog, larger watercolors.
