Arranging the Bouquet

I get pretty excited with the enthusiasm of spring  energy - who can resist all that warm light, bright new blossoms,  fresh earth smells ?  I want that energy ! 
I cut some  branches from the very exuberant  pink and white flowering quince in the yard , and had to paint it before my curious cat deconstructed it !

It's been stormy here the past few days, so I painted under the skylight and stayed dry and warm.

Willows on the Eel River

The river is full and the willows are starting to bloom along the bank.
