Miriam Reading

This figure painting is based on a watercolor sketch done when Miriam modeled here at the house a few years ago.  I really liked my sketch and so I decided to try to paint it on Yupo.  Well, Yupo is like an untrained puppy, and I have to be prepared to be patient and adaptable.
I like the lively results!

More youth action! The player on the left was my neighbor until recently, and he seems destined for fame as a soccer player according to enthusiastic experts, aka, parents !!

Painting again, after a wonderful family visiting time , and starting off 2013 with soccer !  I am inspired by these active young athletes, and will be painting more - They are the definition of the
 " figure - in - action " category !
