Hydrangea Bouquet 2012

Hot days, cool bouquet with seed pods and buckwheat. The heat is bleaching the color from the blooms that are still on the shrub, alas.

Humboldt Bay I

I just taught a 3 day workshop in Eureka, " Painting the Bay". We were an enthusiastic group, energized by the painting potential of water, dramatic skies , boats and birds.
